A SECOND LIFE FOR STUFF IN METRO DENVER

EARTH 911 - ... lists most area reuse and recyling centers - VERY COOL!
Key in zip code and displays most of our local reuse and recycling centers.

If you are a do it yourself recycler, consider these local recycling centers:
Nederland - "green boxes" on Hwy 119 across from the turn off to the Elementary School on Ridge Road
Gilpin - Mid County Transfer Station
Arvada - many recycling bins at grocery stores and churches. Arvada Recycling on Ralston Road specializes in metals

ECOCYCLE in Boulder accepts plastic #1, #2 and dairy tubs, chipboard, aseptic containers, office paper, junk mail, low grade paper such as cereal boxes, bottles, cans and metals, phone books and magazines.

AMERICA RECYCLES in Denver also accepts plastic milk jugs and pop bottles along with magazines, catalogs and chipboard.

If you are trying to figure out what to do with your odds and ends such as tires, batteries, mattresses, printer cartridges etc. consult the Colorado Recycles Guide online at www.colorado-recycles.org.

July 7, 2009 - 7:00pm:  Traditionally TEG does not have a meeting this month since we visit at the Canyon 4th Fest. The directors will meet for an executive meeting that is not open to the public. Please join us at our Annual meeting on August 15, 2009 at 1pm at the CCCIA Community Center.

A government entity that helps control the use of land and water, and helps conserve and improve natural resources.
